The Daily Show has been off for the past two weeks, as has The Colbert Report. It is pretty common when two of my favorite newsmen are gone for me to miss them, but never has that feeling quite like it did this time. In light of the shooting of Michael Brown, and the subsequent violence from a police force that horrendously mishandled everything from the get go, I was really wishing I had their commentary to say all the things I wanted to say.
Tonight, Jon Stewart returned with this scathing critique of media handling in his absence.
