A few months ago, the Lego company was taken to task by Charlotte Benjamin, a seven year old girl. Charlotte wrote a letter to the company sharing her observations that there just weren't many lego options for girls, and that ones that were out there, weren't up to snuff.

"All the girls did was sit at home, go to the beach, and shop, and they had no jobs...The boys went on adventures, worked, saved people, and had jobs."

This week, Lego responded with a female scientist kit, designed by geophysicist, Ellen Kooijman.
